Malitha Peiris

Malitha Peiris is an experienced Electrical Engineer currently serving as the Electrical Engineer in Standards and Specifications at Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) since July 2015. Malitha specializes in the development of comprehensive distribution network specifications and has ensured compliance with international standards while incorporating innovative technologies. Prior to this role, Malitha was an Electrical Engineer focused on projects at HAYCARB PLC, where tailored power distribution systems were designed and commissioned. Malitha also has teaching experience as an instructor at the University of Moratuwa and has undergone training as an engineering trainee at CEB and COLOMBO DOCKYARD PLC, gaining hands-on experience in power generation, transmission, and marine power networks. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Diploma and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, an MBA from the University of West London, and being a passed finalist in CIMA.
