María Villar González has a long and varied work experience. María began their career in 2005 as an Employee in Practice at Special Olympics. In 2007 they began working as a Receptionist at Tryp Hotels and as a Coordinator of Sports Facilities at the Borox Town Hall. In 2012 they became an Instructor of Special Education Primary Classes at San Patricio School. In 2013 they volunteered at the Pediatric Unit of the Ramón y Cajal Hospital. In 2017 they worked as a Social Worker and Coordinator of Volunteers at the Ana Valdivia Foundation for Children and Adolescents with Cerebral Palsy. In 2020 they began working as a Telephone Attention Center at HM Hospitals. In 2022 they were appointed as an Assistant to the CEO at CF Intercity and as a Coordinator of the Lucentum Summer School - Intercity at the Lucentum Basketball Alicante Foundation.
María Villar González began their educational journey in 2004, earning a Técnico en actividad física y animación deportiva (T.A.F.A.D) from the Instituto Superior Duque de Rivas in 2006. In 2008, they earned a Diplomatura de Trabajo Social from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, specializing in Trabajo Social. Additionally, María earned an Entrenador Superior de Baloncesto from the Federación Española de Baloncesto in 2008.
