Ehsan Monazami

Ehsan Monazami, Ph.D., is an accomplished professional in the field of data science, currently serving as Director of Data Science at the CFA Institute since June 2017, where previous roles included Senior Data Scientist and Data Analyst. Ehsan's academic journey culminated in a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Materials Science from the University of Virginia, earned between 2012 and 2016. During this time, research focused on the interaction of C60 with tungsten, exploring the modulation of morphology and electronic structure on the molecular length scale, as well as studying strain lattices imprinted on graphene through C60 intercalation at the graphene-Cu interface.
