Mauricio Cerdas

Mauricio Cerdas is a highly experienced BIM Manager and Senior Architect with a background in business development and strategic implementation of BIM across various projects. Currently serving as BIM Manager at Edica Ltda and co-founder of Sigma Arquitectos, Mauricio Cerdas has been involved in architectural practice and education in Costa Rica for several years, leading initiatives as an instructor at Colegio Federado de Ingenieros y de Arquitectos de Costa Rica and formerly as a professor at Universidad Latina de Costa Rica. With a solid foundation in architectural design and project development from previous roles at Gensler and ADI Arquitectura, Mauricio Cerdas has expertise in utilizing BIM technology in diverse sectors, including retail and commercial projects. Academic qualifications include degrees in architecture with an emphasis on urban planning from Universidad Latina de Costa Rica.
