Sean Hughes

Sean Hughes currently serves as Vice President of Design at CGI since August 2023. Prior to this role, Sean held various leadership positions at Philips between 2006 and 2023, culminating as Head of Design Consulting and Chief Design Officer for Philips Design Healthcare. Sean's work focused on global design practices in healthcare, leveraging human-centered methodologies to drive innovation and enhance user experiences. Previously, Sean was the Senior Director for Philips Design in Hong Kong, overseeing design activities across multiple sectors. Academic credentials include a Master's in Industrial and Product Design from the Royal College of Art and a BA Hons in Industrial Design from Teesside University.
