Julia Taylor

Julia Taylor is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in accounting and financial management. Since October 2015, Julia has served as the Controller at Chabot Space & Science Center, overseeing annual independent financial audits and coordinating with external auditors. Prior experience includes roles as Accounting Manager and Senior Accountant at Episcopal Senior Communities, where Julia prepared financial statements and managed audits for multiple senior housing communities, and as Assistance Controller at Elder Care Alliance, managing a team and overseeing various accounting functions. Julia has also worked as an Auditor at Comyns, Smith, McCleary, LLP, and has developed a solid foundation in finance and accounting through multiple roles spanning over two decades. Julia holds a BS in Accounting from the College of Finance and Economics in Samara, Russia, and a BS in Metallurgical Engineering from Samara State Aerospace University.
