Steve Berl

Steve Berl has extensive experience in software engineering and technology, beginning as an Engineer at NBI from September 1982 to June 1985, and continuing as a Software Engineer at Orion Network Systems (1985-1987), Apple Computer (1987-1992), and Cisco Systems as a Senior Software Engineer from December 1992 to September 2009. Following their tenure at Cisco, Steve Berl served as Software Lead for Team Phoenicia from May 2010 to December 2012 and currently volunteers at the Chabot Space & Science Center since January 2010. Steve Berl holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from UC San Diego (1980-1982) and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tufts University (1976-1980).
