Karen Sampson Hoffman

Karen Sampson Hoffman has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Most recently, they have been working at CHADD (Children and Adults with ADHD) since September 2021, initially as a Program Associate and later transitioning to the role of Marketing Director in April 2023.

Before joining CHADD, Karen worked at The National Resource Center for ADHD as an Editor for ADHD Weekly, starting in May 2009.

Prior to that, they held the position of Communications Manager at Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD) from February 2007 to January 2009.

Karen also has experience in the field of ministry, having served as the Assistant Director of Campus Ministry at The Fredonia Newman Center, Diocese of Buffalo, from August 2002 to February 2007.

During their time at SUNY Fredonia, they worked as a Visiting Professor of Journalism from August 2001 to August 2002.

Karen's earlier experience includes working as an Assistant Managing Editor at The Media Journal-Register and The Albion Advertiser between 1998 and 2000.

Karen Sampson Hoffman completed their Regents Degree at Williamsville Central Schools, East High School from 1987 to 1991. Karen then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism/Mass Communications at St. Bonaventure University from 1991 to 1995. Karen furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Arts degree in Communication from SUNY Brockport between 1999 and 2001.
