Elliot Halperin has extensive experience in development and fundraising roles within the nonprofit sector. Elliot most recently served as the Chief Development Officer for Chai Lifeline since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Development Consultant from March 2020 to November 2021. From 2017 to 2020, Elliot was the Executive Director of External Relations for JDC (The Joint). Elliot also served as the Chief Development Officer for Met Council from 2015 to 2017. Earlier in their career, they held positions such as Development Director for Jewish Home Lifecare, Campaign Director for the Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey, and Director of Special Projects for United Jewish Communities. Elliot began their career as a Campaign Associate for UJA Federation of Greater Toronto in 1995 before transitioning to Director of Young Leadership for Keren Hayesod - UIA in 1998.
