Elliot Halperin

Elliot Halperin has extensive experience in development and fundraising roles within the nonprofit sector. Elliot most recently served as the Chief Development Officer for Chai Lifeline since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Development Consultant from March 2020 to November 2021. From 2017 to 2020, Elliot was the Executive Director of External Relations for JDC (The Joint). Elliot also served as the Chief Development Officer for Met Council from 2015 to 2017. Earlier in their career, they held positions such as Development Director for Jewish Home Lifecare, Campaign Director for the Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey, and Director of Special Projects for United Jewish Communities. Elliot began their career as a Campaign Associate for UJA Federation of Greater Toronto in 1995 before transitioning to Director of Young Leadership for Keren Hayesod - UIA in 1998.

Elliot Halperin's education history began with their enrollment at Herzliah High School, although the dates are not specified. Elliot later pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on Political Science at Carleton University from 1989 to 1991. Following this, from 1993 to 1995, they attended both The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University to obtain a Master's degree in Non-Profit Management (MMHS), as well as Brandeis University's Hornstein Program in Jewish Professional Leadership, where they completed a Master of Arts degree.
