Dirk-Stefan Sauer

Dirk-Stefan Sauer has a wealth of experience in various industries. Dirk-Stefan began their career at BASF in 1986, where they worked as a Sourcing Manager and Project Manager until 1998. During this time, they also served as the Head of Reporting & Controlling and Risk Management of the Raw Materials Purchasing Division. In 2001, Sauer joined BASF Business Services Holding GmbH as the Head of Procurement, Invoicing, and Proposals for BASF IT Services B.V. Here, they successfully built and led the newly introduced Procurement Function, inclusive of Invoicing and Proposals, and implemented cost reduction strategies. In 2005, Sauer moved to UBS AG, where they held various roles including Head Global Sourcing IT Infrastructure Mainframe & Software and Head Global Investment Agreements & Support. Finally, in 2014, Sauer joined Chain IQ Group AG as the Business Development Management - Executive Director.

Dirk-Stefan Sauer completed their education in a chronological order. From 1983 to 1985, they attended IHK Ludwigshafen and obtained a degree in Industriekaufmann. In 1984 to 1985, they also attended IHK Ludwigshafen and achieved a degree in Language Correspondent, specializing in English. Lastly, from 1985 to 1986, they studied Business Administration at the University of Applied Sciences Ludwigshafen, earning a degree in WA.
