Dan Lorenc has had a varied and impressive career in software engineering. Dan began their career in 2007 as an Engineering Intern at Excel Engineering. In 2008, they took on an Engineering Intern role at MIT, where they designed and built buoys that generated electricity from waves and inexpensive 3D-printers. In 2009, they became a Software Development Engineering Intern at Intuit. Dan then moved to Microsoft in 2010, where they were a Software Development Engineer. In 2012, they worked as a Software Engineer at both Google and DISQUS. In 2021, they founded both Chainguard, Inc and Stealth Startup, where they currently serve as Founder/CEO and Founder, respectively.
Dan Lorenc obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology between 2006 and 2010.
