Miguel Calello has a diverse range of work experience in the finance industry. Miguel is currently serving as the Vice President of Finance for Managed Companies at the Chalhoub Group, where they are responsible for driving value creation across various brands. Miguel is also a member of the NEXT Committee, a group focused on strategic initiatives and innovation. Prior to their current role, Miguel worked as the Group Head of Finance at Chalhoub Group, where they reported financial performance to the executive committee and board. Miguel also served as the Senior Director of Finance for Strategy, Growth, Innovation, and Investments, where they played a key role in developing the company's corporate ventures and acquisitions strategy. Miguel has also held leadership positions at Etihad Airways, Tenaris, and Mondelēz International, gaining experience in corporate financial planning and control, strategic planning, and financial analysis. Additionally, they have served on the advisory boards and as a non-executive director for several companies, including Saint Honoré, Threads Styling, Ralph Lauren, and FRÉ Skincare. Miguel began their career as a consulting associate at EY and an audit trainee at Deloitte & Touche.
Miguel Calello completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Universidad de 'San Andrés' in 2006, as well as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the same institution. In 2009, they pursued a Masters in Corporate Finance from Universidad del CEMA, which was a CFA Program Partner. In 2015, they enrolled at London Business School and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in 2016. Later in 2016, they completed an MBA Exchange program at Columbia Business School. Additionally, they obtained an IGCSE certification from the University of Cambridge in 2001.
