Rachel Hargreaves

Rachel Hargreaves is an experienced educational leader currently serving as Executive Headteacher at Mowbray School since September 2022. In addition to this role, Rachel is involved in various capacities including Results Trained Coach at NeuroLeadership Institute, Accredited Individual and Teams Motivational Mapper at Motivational Maps, and Coach certified by ICF. As Regional Lead for Whole School SEND in the North, Rachel supports schools and Local Authorities in improving SEND provision. Rachel also manages the Challenge Partners North East Special School Hub, overseeing eight special schools in the region. Previous positions include Headteacher at Barbara Priestman Academy and Director of Academy Improvement at Ascent Academies' Trust. Rachel holds a Master of Science in Leadership and Organisational Change from Teesside University and has completed various yoga training programs, including a yoga therapy focus. Currently enrolled in the CEO Programme at the National Institute of Teaching, Rachel continues to advance in educational leadership.
