Dumitru Lefter is an experienced legal professional currently serving as a Weinstein JAMS International Fellow at the Weinstein International Foundation since August 2024. In addition, Dumitru Lefter co-founded the Mediation Academy and Legal Studies in May 2023 and holds board member positions at the Alianța Lanțului Valoric în Agricultura Ecologică din Moldova (MOVCA) and the Mediation Council of the Republic of Moldova. Dumitru Lefter has been managing the legal department and serving as managing director at Prograin Organic since July 2017, and as managing director of the Mediation Centre of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Moldova since January 2017. Previous experience includes a corporate lawyer role at TRANS-OIL Group of Companies and senior legal advisor at the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Moldova. Dumitru Lefter holds a Master’s Degree in International Law and a Licentiate in Law from the State University of Moldova, alongside accreditation in mediation from CEDR.
