Alyx McElfresh

Alyx McElfresh has extensive experience in public health and education, currently serving as a Health Educator II at the Champaign-Urbana Public Health District since January 2018, after previously holding the position of Health Educator I. Prior to this role, Alyx worked as a Life Enrichment Coordinator at Windsor of Savoy, organizing activities for senior residents. Previous experience includes serving as a Cafeteria Aide at Passavant Area Hospital, where responsibilities included customer service and training new staff, and a Public Health Intern at the Cass County Health Department, focusing on event organization and health education materials development. Alyx also has experience as a Detassler at Burrus Seed Farms and holds a Bachelor of Applied Health Science in Community Health from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
