Nikolaos Papanikolaou, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in the field of oncologic imaging and machine learning imaging. Nikolaos currently serves as the Principal Investigator in Oncologic Imaging and the Head of the Computational Clinical Imaging Group at the Champalimaud Foundation. Nikolaos also holds the position of Honorary Reader at The Institute of Cancer Research and is the Machine Learning Imaging Lead at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. Additionally, they are an Affiliated Researcher at ICS-FORTH and a Section Editor for Cancer Imaging. Prior to their current roles, they were a Visiting Researcher at Karolinska Institutet and the owner of MRIcons. Nikolaos also served as the MR Excellence Program Scientific Director at Affidea.
