Piotr Sokol

Piotr Sokol is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Champalimaud Foundation since July 2023. Prior experience includes a Research Assistant role at Stony Brook University from September 2017 to May 2023, as well as positions at Erasmus MC and the Netherlands Institute for Neuroscience from September 2013 to September 2014, where research was conducted under the supervision of Prof. De Zeeuw and Dr. Sokol's appointment was shared between both institutions. Piotr Sokol earned a PhD in Computational Neuroscience and Machine Learning from Stony Brook University (2017-2023), a Master of Science in Neural Information Processing from the University of Tübingen (2014-2017), a Bachelor's Degree in Neuroscience and Mathematics from University College Utrecht (2009-2012), and participated in a UC Reciprocity program at UC San Diego in 2011.
