Florie D'Orazi, PhD, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in project and program management within scientific and medical research. Currently serving as the Principal Project Manager at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative since April 2022, Florie previously held roles at the Allen Institute, where responsibilities included acting as a Scientific Program Manager and Project and Alliance Manager for the MindScope Program. Prior experience includes serving as a Science Officer at Ripple Effect Communications, Inc., managing grants for the Department of Defense's Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs, and conducting postdoctoral research at the University of Washington. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Washington and a Bachelor's Degree in Neurobiology from the University of California, Davis. Florie's expertise is further enhanced by additional training from the NIH Foundation for Advanced Education in the Sciences and Defense Acquisition University.
