Ivana Jelic

Ivana Jelic is a seasoned professional in data science and program management, currently serving as a Senior Program Manager in Science at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative since October 2017. With previous roles including Senior Data Scientist at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute and Senior Data Scientist at IBM, Ivana has developed expertise in designing analytic solutions, implementing data processing workflows, and deploying AI frameworks. Earlier experience includes a Research Scientist position at Sigma Space Corporation, where mathematical modeling and machine learning techniques were applied across various scientific domains. Ivana holds a Doctor's Degree in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from The George Washington University and completed a program focused on Women in Leadership at MIT Professional Education in 2023.
