Michele Dukes, CMP, CASP

Michele Dukes, CMP, CASP has over 30 years of experience in the senior housing industry. Michele has held various leadership roles with companies such as Chancellor Health Care, Brookdale, be.group, Bild & Company, Retirement Housing Council, and SantaFe Senior Living Inc.

In their most recent role as the Corporate Director of Sales and Marketing at Chancellor Health Care since 2018, Michele oversees the sales and marketing operations for 20 communities across multiple states. Michele is responsible for leading, managing, and developing sales managers, as well as recruiting and retaining sales teams throughout the US. Michele is highly skilled in training, coaching, mentoring, motivating, public relations, and external business development.

From 2016 to 2018, Michele served as the Regional Director of Sales and Marketing at Brookdale, where they oversaw sales operations for 14 communities in California. Similar to their previous role, they led, managed, and developed sales managers, recruited and retained sales teams, and demonstrated expertise in training, coaching, budgeting, public relations, and external business development.

Prior to that, Michele was the CCRC Life Plan Multi Site Director of Sales & Marketing at be.group, where they managed and led the sales and marketing operation for multiple CCRC communities in Southern California. Michele was responsible for hiring, training, mentoring, and motivating internal and external sales team members.

Before joining be.group, Michele worked at Bild & Company as a Certified Senior Housing Consultant/Trainer/Coach. Their role involved helping senior housing sales teams across the United States increase sales and occupancy through proven training systems and effective community outreach.

Michele also served as the President of the Retirement Housing Council, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the needs of retirement housing communities in Florida. Their role included maintaining the highest standard of quality service to seniors and facilitating unity, sharing, and ongoing education within the industry.

Michele Dukes, CMP, CASP has a comprehensive education history. Michele attended Santa Fe College from 1982 to 1985, where they pursued a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing. In 2016, they obtained a Sales Management Certification from Florida State University. Additionally, Michele has obtained multiple certifications over the years. Michele earned the Certified Marketing Professional designation from Life Services Network in May 2009 and the Certified Aging Services Professional designation from AAHSA in December 2008. In April 2006, they received the Florida Assisted Living Core Training certification from ACHA.
