Sara French

Sara French-Rooke is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in negotiation, mediation, and policy development. Currently serving as Vice President at ChangeMakers since September 2024, Sara previously held the role of Vice President at Yukon Development Corporation and Senior Negotiator for the Government of Yukon. Additionally, Sara has experience as Principal Consultant at Northern Consultants, contributing to policy research and project management across Canada and the Circumpolar Arctic. Prior roles include Secretariat Staff at the InterAction Council, where responsibilities involved drafting recommendations for global issues, and Director of Programs at the Walter and Duncan Gordon Foundation overseeing multiple significant initiatives. Early career experiences include internships at the Mission of Canada to the European Union and the Department of Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform in the UK. Sara's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Political Studies from Queen's University, as well as studies at The London School of Economics and Political Science.
