Emily Hanley

Emily Hanley has worked as a software engineer for the past 15 years. Emily began their career in 2005 as a Microsoft Explorer Intern at Microsoft. In 2006, they were a Software Engineering Intern at Thomson Reuters. The following year, they were a Software Engineering Intern at Google. Emily then worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Google from 2008 to 2020. Most recently, they have been a Software Engineer and the third employee of Channels.org in Ann Arbor since 2020. Her role is to make it easy for artists to seamlessly distribute subscription-based online content to their audiences.

Emily Hanley attended Saint Johns High School from 2000 to 2004 and then went on to the University of Michigan, where they earned a BSE in Computer Science Engineering in 2008.
