Florin Zamfir

Florin Zamfir has over seven years of work experience in the software development and testing industry.

From 2013 to 2016, Florin worked as a Software Developer and Software Tester at Sinoptix SA, where they developed and supported applications using Oracle Technologies, specifically PL/SQL, SQL and Oracle Forms and Reports 10g/ 11g, wrote Perl or PL/SQL scripts for batch database operations, and developed, maintained and updated database triggers, stored procedures, functions, views, packages. Florin also performed bug fixing for a CRM (Customer Request Management) Application for a major telecommunication company as a contractor.

From 2016 to 2019, Florin worked as a Software Developer at IBM, where they developed software applications for a Premium Automotive Manufacturer using Microsoft and Oracle platforms with Agile (Scrum) Methodology, created new web features using C# .NET, BASIC and HTML/CSS/Javascript, programmed with PL/SQL for database side of applications using Oracle 11g/12c, and used software versioning tools such as SVN, TFS, and Git. Florin also took care of the full cycle experience on projects, used Operating System concepts on Windows, and deployed applications/web servers such as IIS, Glassfish, and Apache.

Finally, Florin worked as a Software Developer at ChannelSight from 2019 to present, where they worked on implementing and maintaining various applications using Microsoft technologies like ASP. NET MVC, WebAPI, Azure in an Agile Environment (front-end and back-end), used Entity Framework with SQL Server as Object relational Mapper and LINQ to create or update entities in the database, used the Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Functions (Queue/Time/HTTP triggers), Durable Functions and also worked in implementing Web hooks Endpoints with Azure Functions, and used tools like Microsoft TFS, Git/Jira/Confluence, SVN for source control and task/bug tracking. Florin also investigated Data visualization solutions like PowerBI and Tableau and how they can be embedded in applications, and used Javascript, SignalR, AJAX, Bootstrap, various JS libraries like Datatables, Chosen, SweetAlert, Toastr for front-end development.

Florin Zamfir attained a Master's Degree in Embedded Electrical Communication Sistems from Universitatea Transilvania din Brașov in 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the same institution in 2012. Florin also holds a High School degree from Liceul Nicolae Titulescu Brasov, Romania in 2008. Additionally, Florin Zamfir has obtained two certifications, namely Banking Industry Foundations from IBM in July 2018 and Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate from Oracle in May 2017.
