Nancy A. Burke

Nancy Burke is a partner and the Co-Practice Group Leader of Chapman's National Public Finance Department.

Nancy has been practicing law since 1987 when she joined Chapman. She has devoted substantially all of her time to the field of tax-exempt and taxable bond financings for healthcare, educational, and cultural institutions. She serves as bond counsel, disclosure counsel, underwriter’s counsel, and special corporate counsel.

Nancy has worked on a wide range of tax-exempt and taxable financings throughout the country, and has served as bond counsel and disclosure counsel to state authorities, cities, villages, and counties. Among others, she has served as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel, or special corporate counsel on bond issues for the benefit of borrowers including large multi-state health care systems, regional and community health care institutions, national and regional universities and colleges, and a wide-range of cultural institutions.

In September 2013, Nancy was elected a Fellow of the American College of Bond Counsel.
