Lori Deterding has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. From 2009 to the present, they have worked at Chapman University, where they started as an Assistant to the Chief Information Officer. In this role, they provided administrative support, managed purchasing functions, and supervised the Front Office staff. Lori then moved on to become an Operations Manager in Information Systems and Technology, coordinating budgeting activities and participating in special project teams. Following that, they became the Assistant Director of Administrative Operations, where they improved business processes, managed budgets, and oversaw the daily activities of administrative staff. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Finance and Operations. Prior to their time at Chapman University, Lori worked at Verizon Wireless Messaging as an Associate Director of Operations, where they assisted in overseeing daily activities for the Southern California region and served as a liaison to the Call Center at corporate headquarters.
Lori Deterding attended California State University, Fullerton where they earned a BA degree in Sociology.
