Systems Engineering Consultant - Control System Framework, Systems Engineering and ISO26262 at Chara Technologies

Sanjay Patel has extensive work experience in various roles related to technical consulting, systems engineering, and control system design. Sanjay is currently a Founding Partner and Technical Consultant at NESA Innovation Labs, where they provide expertise in these areas. Sanjay also works as a Systems Engineering Consultant at Chara Technologies and as a Development Consultant at Rebel Foods, focusing on mechatronics, controls, and system design.

Previously, Sanjay worked at Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions as a Control Systems and Signal Processing Specialist, contributing to drive electronics. Prior to that, they were a Lead Engineer at SEDEMAC Mechatronics, where they specialized in controls and systems engineering.

Sanjay's career began at Tata Motors, where they served as a Control System Engineer and a Post Graduate Engineer Trainee. Before that, they gained research experience as a Research Intern in Oncology at Philips. Sanjay also completed a summer internship in electrification at General Motors.

Sanjay Patel's education history begins in 2002 when they attended I. B. Patel Vidyalaya School in Goregaon, Mumbai for their Secondary School Certificate (X). From 2007 to 2009, they attended The D. G. Ruparel College in Mumbai and obtained their Higher-Secondary School Certificate (XII) in the field of Science.

In 2009, Sanjay enrolled at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, where they pursued a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Engineering Design with specialization in Automotive Engineering. This program lasted until 2013.

Following the completion of their BTech degree, Sanjay continued their education at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and completed a Master of Technology (MTech) degree in Engineering Design with specialization in Automotive Engineering from 2013 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Sanjay has obtained several certifications. These include Introduction to Artificial Intelligence from Simplilearn in November 2021, Business German Course Step 1 (A2.1 CEFR) from Robert Bosch Engineering & Business Solutions PVT LTD in October 2021, Machine Learning from Coursera in June 2021, Python Micro-course from Kaggle in June 2020, Basic Course in Practical Astronomy from JVP, Indian Amateur Astronomer's Club, Pune in May 2018, and Functional Safety Standard (ISO26262:2011) from TÜV SÜD in 2017. Additionally, they completed a Systems Engineering course from the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) in 2016.
