Carmel Warren

Carmel Warren currently serves as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee at Fonix Mobile PLC and The Character Group PLC since March 2022 and April 2021, respectively. Previously, Carmel held the position of Interim CFO at Universe Group plc from October 2020 to April 2021 and spent time traveling across seven continents during a sabbatical from July 2019 to March 2020. From March 2007 to July 2019, Carmel was the CFO at D4t4 Solutions Plc, focusing on data-driven enterprise software solutions. Earlier career experiences include Director of Education at Brightside Group plc, Director at Marshall Keen Ltd, and various finance roles at ExxonMobil from 1990 to 2001. Carmel began the career as an Audit Supervisor at Ernst & Young after obtaining a BA (Hons) in Accounting & Finance from Kingston University and holding the FCA designation from ICAEW.
