Joe Davis

Joe Davis is an experienced data science professional currently serving as the Director of Data Science at Character Biosciences since July 2024. Previously, Joe held various roles at BigHat Biosciences, including Data Science Lead, Data Science Platform Lead, and Senior Data Scientist from October 2020 to April 2024. Prior to that, Joe was a Senior Data Scientist at Prealize Health and a Data Scientist at Cardinal Analytx Solutions. Joe's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Genetics and a Master of Science in Statistics from Stanford University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences and Statistics from the University of Chicago. Additionally, Joe served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Stanford University School of Medicine for a brief period in 2017.
