Svet Savova

Svet Savova currently serves as General Counsel at Chard Development Ltd., overseeing legal and compliance matters since March 2020, with responsibilities including risk assessment and legal advising on a variety of transactions. Prior to this role, Svet worked as an Associate in the Commercial Real Estate Group at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP from February 2014 to September 2021, providing counsel on real property issues. Earlier experience includes multiple roles at EULEX Kosovo, where Svet contributed to the mission in various capacities including Special Assistant and Liaison Officer. Svet's background is further supported by internships focused on legal and intellectual property issues at organizations such as CGIAR Consortium and International Livestock Research Institute. Svet holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the University of Cambridge and Bachelor's Degrees in International Relations and Political Science from The University of British Columbia. Additional education includes a Certificate D'Etudes Politiques from Sciences Po Grenoble.
