Guy Barudin

Guy Barudin has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Guy currently holds the position of Director of Investment Banking at Chardan since February 2019. Prior to this, they served as the Managing Director, Portfolio Manager, Affiliate Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Operating Officer at Terrapin Partners for more than a decade, where they played a crucial role in corporate strategy and development, portfolio management, deal sourcing and evaluations, M&A governance, operations, and project management. Guy'sexpertise in the formation and operation of SPACs was well-recognized. During their time at Terrapin Partners, they also facilitated the acquisition of $250M in additional assets through M&A with private firms during financial crises.

Before joining Terrapin Partners, Guy worked at Medco Health Solutions as Senior Director of Business & Pricing Development, where they oversaw the implementation of a network of IT alliances, managed the screening process for strategic IT partners, and handled pricing and financial modeling and sales support for national accounts with significant sales volume.

Guy also had a stint at MasterCard International, where they held the positions of Vice President of Strategic Services and Director of Alliances & New Ventures. In these roles, they developed systematic screening and partnership negotiating processes, benchmarked product development and marketing responsibilities, and built and managed teams and systems for reviewing and executing marketing agreements, technology licenses, and equity investments.

Earlier in their career, Guy worked at RMS Technologies as the VP of Development, overseeing the strategy and business development of a financially distressed $100M IT manager and advising on its sale to a private equity fund. Prior to RMS Technologies, they were the Vice President of Business Development at Liberty Technologies, where they generated the company's first industrial sale, achieved a 30% growth in the core business through alliances, acquisitions, and direct product management, and managed the company's IPO.

Guy began their career as a Vice President at Dillon Read.
