Mel Macaluso has worked in various roles in the tech industry since 2016. In 2017, they were a Frontend Developer at Monaco Digital and Head of Digital/Lead Frontend Developer at Monaco Solicitors (UK). In 2019, they were a Full Stack Engineer at Lex Solicitors. Since 2021, they have been a Full Stack Engineer at theUp.co. While at theUp.co, they led the rebuilding of the main digital menu ordering customer web app using React.js and Tailwind CSS, resulting in a 30-40% faster page load, 20% fewer network requests, and full e2e test coverage.
