Louis Clark

In May 2016, the Chargers hired Louis Clark as senior director of pro personnel. He most recently held the same position for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Clark originally joined the Eagles in 2013 as a pro scout after previously holding the position of director of pro personnel with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He spent 16 seasons in the Jaguars' player personnel department as a college scout, assistant director of pro personnel and director of pro personnel.

Prior to beginning his scouting career, Clark served as the running backs and special teams coach of the Amsterdam Admirals of NFL Europe in 1996. He also coached with the St. Louis Rams in 1996, assisting the wide receivers during training camp.

A native of Tupelo, Miss., Clark graduated from Mississippi State with a degree in educational psychology. He played wide receiver in Starkville from 1983-86 and was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the 10th round of the 1987 NFL Draft. Clark played seven seasons in the NFL, including six with the Seahawks and one with the Green Bay Packers, before retiring after the 1993 season.

Clark's brother, Dave, played 13 seasons in Major League Baseball and is currently the third base coach of the Detroit Tigers.
