Jan Svendsen Weiss has a diverse and extensive work experience in various marketing and creative roles. Jan started their career at Ogilvy & Mather in 1984, where they served as Vice President for eight years. After that, they worked as a Freelance Consultant at BB&J Marketing from 1992 to 1999. In 1999, they joined The Broadway League as the Director of Marketing and Business Development/Chief Marketing Officer, a position they held until 2016. During their time at The Broadway League, they contributed significantly to the organization's marketing strategies and business growth. Subsequently, they joined Charity Network in 2016 as the Chief Marketing Officer and later became the Chief Creative Officer in November 2017. Currently, they are working at Broadway Podcast Network as a Creator/Host, starting from January 2021. Jan Svendsen Weiss received a Master's Degree in Marketing from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird) at Arizona State University from 1982 to 1983. Prior to that, from 1975 to 1979, Weiss completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sociology at San Diego State University. Weiss's earlier education includes attending University High School from 1973 to 1975, but no degree or field of study is specified for this period.
