Stephen Shamakian

Stephen Shamakian has over 20 years of work experience in various roles related to DevOps engineering, web engineering, and computer facilities management. Stephen started their career as a contract web developer before moving on to work at Byte Design, Central Connecticut State University, and Ennoverse Ltd. At Ennoverse Ltd, they served as a Co-Founder/CIO and was responsible for managing server infrastructure and client management systems. Stephen then worked at Aetna and CVS Health, where they held roles such as Senior Web Engineer and DevOps Engineering - Senior Principal Engineer. Stephen implemented automation systems and saved the company millions of dollars in expenditures. Their most recent role was at Charles River Laboratories as the Digital Projects - Principal DevOps Engineer.

Stephen Shamakian graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology, specializing in Computer Networking Systems and Telecommunications. Stephen completed their undergraduate studies at the university from 2005 to 2009. In addition to their degree, Stephen has obtained certifications such as Octopus Insider 2023 from Octopus Deploy in May 2023 and Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in February 2020.
