Dakota Nordgren

Dakota Nordgren is a seasoned data engineering professional with extensive experience in leading cloud data infrastructure initiatives. Currently serving as Senior Manager and Data Engineering Lead at Charles Schwab since June 2017, Dakota has successfully designed and developed the Cloud Data Warehouse platform, emphasizing high availability, scalability, and security while implementing Infrastructure-as-Code standards. Prior experience includes roles at General Motors as a Big Data Developer, where Dakota optimized data processing in a 2 petabyte warehouse, and at HP, where Dakota developed the Enterprise Data Lake platform and customized SAP R/3 solutions. Dakota holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems from the University of Arkansas, Sam M. Walton College of Business.
