Collette Pries

A certified public accountant, Collette Pries worked for 15 years as a non-profit tax manager for Plante & Moran in Auburn Hills, Michigan, before joining Mott’s Administrative Services division in 2013. She originally planned to open her own day care, starting college as a child development major. But a business class convinced her that accounting was a better fit, and she subsequently earned a bachelor’s degree in that area of study from Central Michigan University.

The best thing about working for Mott, says Pries, is the people. She also enjoys working in downtown Flint, near the city’s cultural center, where she’s seen new businesses and restaurants change things for the better.
