Dr Troy Whitford

Dr Troy Whitford has a diverse work experience. Dr Troy has worked at Charles Sturt University since 2018, where they have held multiple positions including Course Director of Policing and Security, Sub Dean of Learning and Teaching in the Faculty of Business, Justice and Behavioural Sciences, and Senior Lecturer in Intelligence and Security Studies. Prior to this, Dr Whitford worked at Civintel PTY LTD as an Investigator from 2012 to 2020.

Dr Troy Whitford has a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Political History from Charles Sturt University and a Master of Arts (MA) in Modern History from Macquarie University. Dr Troy also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in History from Charles Sturt University. In 2011, they obtained a Certificate III in Investigative Services from the Australian School of Security and Investigations. Additionally, they have a Graduate Diploma in Education and a Graduate Certificate in University Learning and Teaching, both from Charles Sturt University. In 2023, they obtained a certification in trAInify AI for Educators from trAInify.
