Janaea Eads

Janaea Eads has developed a diverse background in the publishing and education sectors, currently serving as an Editorial Intern at Charlesbridge Publishing since January 2022. Previous experience includes roles as a Bookseller at Porter Square Bookstore and as a Program Coordinator and Lead Instructor/Marketing Coordinator at Old Colony YMCA, where key responsibilities involved teaching, curriculum development, event organization, and student support. Janaea's teaching expertise was further honed while working with WorldTeach as a Teacher, where original curricula were created for various student levels. Early in the academic career, writing tutoring was provided at Stony Brook University Writing Center, assisting university students with essential writing skills. An educational foundation was established with a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from Stony Brook University, followed by further studies at Boston University Metropolitan College and John Cabot University.
