John Inglis

John Inglis is a dedicated professional with diverse experience primarily in law enforcement, maritime operations, and community service. Currently serving as a Deputy Sheriff at the Charleston County Sheriff's Office since January 2020, John previously gained valuable skills as an Owner's Assistant at Sea Island Marine LLC, where technical expertise in maritime vessel maintenance and operations was developed. John's leadership experience includes serving as Vice President of External Affairs for The Citadel Republican Society, managing social media relations, and fostering political activism on campus. Additional roles, such as an intern at the Charleston County Sheriff's Office and various positions at Wild Dunes Resort, have contributed to a well-rounded skill set in public service and customer relations. John holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from The Citadel and has a strong foundation in community engagement and public safety.
