Allyson Gray Michal is an accomplished musician and educator with extensive experience in orchestral performance and academia. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Mount Holyoke College since September 2019, Michal is also a First Violinist with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra, Portland Symphony Orchestra, and Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra, positions held since October 2016 and October 2015 respectively. Michal has contributed as a Substitute Musician with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and Charleston Symphony Orchestra, along with previous roles in the Albany Symphony Orchestra and Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra. Michal holds a Master's degree in Violin Performance from Northwestern University and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Indiana University Bloomington, complementing a commitment to music education demonstrated through a role as Music Director at Wright State University Catholic Campus Ministry.
