Andrew Collins

Andrew Collins is a skilled professional with extensive experience in musical instrument repair and fabrication. Since January 2020, Andrew has been self-employed, specializing in the design and creation of small parts and tools primarily for woodwinds, utilizing a variety of power equipment. As a clarinetist at Clarinet since January 2015, Andrew teaches the entire clarinet family with innovative methods, drawing on years of experimentation with the instrument. Previously, from January 2021 to November 2023, Andrew served as an Instrument Repair Technician at Tarpley Music, focusing on comprehensive repairs and restorations. Educational qualifications include studies at the University of South Carolina from 2011 to 2014, Baylor University from 2009 to 2011, and Western Iowa Tech Community College from 2020 to 2022, specializing in instrument repair.
