Kathryn Dark

Kathryn Dark is an accomplished Research Manager at Reason Research, where employment began in December 2020. Prior roles at Reason Research include Senior Research Analyst, Research Analyst, and Associate Research Analyst. Concurrently, Kathryn serves as a Guest Violist for the Charleston Symphony Orchestra since September 2018. Experience also includes performances for the Holland America Line and participation as a semi-finalist with the New World Symphony. Additional positions include Violist with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago and Teaching Artist for Sistema Ravinia. Prior to their research and performance career, Kathryn worked as a Marketing Associate at Contract Picture Framers and as a Research Assistant at Northwestern University. Educational qualifications include a Master of Music in Viola Performance from Rice University and a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Music from Northwestern University.
