Julia C. Galofre is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in urban planning and architecture. Since August 2004, Julia has served as the Plans Review Manager for the Charlotte County Board of County Commissioners, where responsibilities include supervising plans review services and implementing efficient processes. Previously, Julia held the position of Building Codes & Sustainability Specialist, managing the Green Building Ordinance and program in Charlotte County. Julia was the Principal at Planning Analytics, LLC from January 2016 to September 2021, and contributed to the governance of the Florida Green Building Coalition as a Board member from June 2010 to October 2016. Additional roles include serving on various advisory boards, such as the Lee County Metropolitan Planning Organization's Citizen's Advisory Committee. Earlier career positions include project management and design roles at architectural firms including Alliance Design Group and Reynolds, Smith & Hills. Julia holds a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.
