Kevin Mangels

Kevin Mangels, CGCIO, CISSP, possesses extensive experience in information technology and security management. Currently serving as IT Senior Division Manager, Network Services Manager, and IT Security Administrator at the Charlotte County Board of County Commissioners since June 2014, Kevin previously worked as a Police Officer at the St. Joseph County Police Department from June 2006 to June 2014 and as a Cyber Network Operations and Systems Officer in the U.S. Marine Corps for two decades. Kevin earned a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University between 2018 and January 2022 and obtained the Certified Government Chief Information Officer (CGCIO) designation from the Florida Institute of Government at Florida State University in 2017.
