Richard Phillips

Richard Phillips is an experienced Information Technology professional currently serving as an Information Technology Security Administrator for the Charlotte County Board of County Commissioners since November 2022. Prior to this role, Richard worked at Boar's Head Brand from April 2013 to November 2022, where responsibilities included monitoring various cybersecurity systems and performing third-party vendor security audits. Additionally, Richard held positions in technical support, operations management, and customer service at several organizations, including Sportvision, Bed Bath & Beyond, Fun-Lan Drive-In Theater, Target, and USF Academic Computing. Richard earned an Associate of Science degree in Information Technology Security from Hillsborough Community College and has a background in Psychology from the University of South Florida.
