Edward Young

Head of Software & Electronics at Charm Industrial

Edward Young is a highly accomplished physicist with extensive experience in research and engineering. Currently serving as the Head of Research, Head of Software and Electronics, Staff Scientist, and Senior Software Engineer at Charm Industrial since May 2021, Edward has a robust background in developing advanced technologies, including deploying a microwave readout multiplexer at the Keck Observatory and designing a space-compatible microwave multiplexer for NASA. Prior to this role, Edward was a Postdoctoral Researcher and KIPAC Fellow at Stanford University from June 2018 to May 2021. Edward holds a PhD in Physics from Princeton University, awarded in 2018, and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Physics and Astronomy & Astrophysics from the University of California, Berkeley, completed in 2011.
