Catherine Duran

Catherine Duran is an experienced R&D Scientist I currently working at Charm Sciences, Inc. since July 2022, following a diverse background in research and support roles. Catherine has engaged in significant research at Merrimack College, particularly in the study of immortalizing RPE1-21/3 and RPE1-WT cells for CRISPR gene modification under Dr. LeBlanc's guidance. Additionally, Catherine acted as a Drive's Peer Leader, facilitating student outreach and academic support through various communication platforms. Previous experience includes roles as a Pharmacy Technician at Greater Lawrence Family Health Center, an Enumerator for the U.S. Census Bureau, and internships in administrative support at TimePayment and Zwickers and Associates P.C. Catherine holds a Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cellular, and Biotechnology from Merrimack College.
