Hassan Srour is a Senior Research Scientist at Charnwood Discovery since March 2020, focusing on the design and synthesis of new bioactive molecules within medicinal chemistry programs. Previously, Hassan Srour held a postdoctoral researcher position at the Université de Strasbourg from October 2016 to May 2019, developing innovative in vitro methods to assess the sensitizing potential of chemical substances, alongside synthesizing carbon-13 labeled sensitizing molecules. Earlier experience also includes postdoctoral research at the Laboratoire de Chimie Moléculaire et Thio-organique (ENSICAEN) from January 2014 to January 2016, where Hassan Srour synthesized and characterized fluorescent molecules derived from dibenzoanthracene and di-indolocarbazole. Hassan Srour commenced a research career as a doctoral candidate at the Institut des Sciences Chimiques de Rennes, completing a PhD in Chemistry at the Université de Rennes I in 2013, preceded by a Master’s degree in Molecular Chemistry from the same institution.
