Alexander Bunkenburg has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and architecture. Alexander started their career as a Software Engineer at intec in 1999 and later worked at THE INFORMATION HIGHWAY GROUP (IHG) as a Software Engineer from 2000 to 2002. From 2003 to 2008, Alexander worked as a Software Architect at infojobs.net, where they focused on defining and controlling software architecture and proposing new technologies.
In 2008, Alexander joined Netquest as a Software Architect, where they developed a new survey engine. Alexander then moved to Siine Ltd in 2011, where they worked as a Software Architect and was responsible for project management and software architecture for the development of a virtual keyboard for the Android operating system.
In 2012, Alexander worked at Mobile Jazz as a Software Architect, specializing in building high-quality mobile software. Alexander also worked at Netcentric - Enterprise Web Excellence as a Solutions Architect, where they performed development and team-leading functions in content-management web projects.
In 2019, Alexander joined Chartboost as a Senior Software Engineer (Scala), where they currently work. Overall, Alexander has a strong background in software engineering and architecture, with expertise in various platforms and technologies.
Alexander Bunkenburg's education history includes a BSc Combined Honours degree in Computing & Mathematics from The University of Glasgow, which they obtained from 1988 to 1992. Following that, they pursued a PhD in Theoretical Computing at the University of Glasgow from 1993 to 1997.

Alexander is also an "Adobe Certified Expert - Adobe Experience Manager Business Practitioner" and an "Adobe Certified Expert - Adobe Experience Manager Lead Developer," certified by Adobe in March 2017 as well.
