Ying Shang

Ying Shang started their work experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Arizona in August 2011. Ying focused on text mining for breast cancer patients, extracting information from a breast cancer forum to identify the best ways to cure the disease. Ying also conducted geo security analysis during their time at the university.

In June 2012, Ying Shang joined CityGrid Media as a Data Scientist. Their work primarily involved detecting traffic quality patterns and analyzing web logs to identify bot patterns. Ying also experimented with various features, such as click stream patterns, to achieve this goal.

In August 2013, Ying Shang joined YP as a Senior Software Engineer. Ying held this position until February 2016, contributing their expertise in software development to the company.

Starting from February 2016, Ying Shang transitioned to their role as a Software Engineer at Chartboost, where they currently work.

Ying Shang completed a Master of Science degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona - Eller College of Management in 2011. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Tianjin Foreign Studies University from 2005 to 2009, earning a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, General.
